Our inception came about through client demand. An ever increasing demand from our existing client base and their contacts led to the inception of Oakwrights Country Buildings, clearly demonstrating the quality of our work and the high level of customer satisfaction and support that is central to our business.

We were the first full-scale oak framed company in the United Kingdom to have invested in a Hundegger K2 machine and specialised framing computer software systems. This ensures complete accuracy on your frame and speed of production. However, each frame is still hand finished, pre-assembled and adjusted by a skilled craftsman. and with all traditional methods maintained, we can produce for you a high quality, hand finished building quickly and accurately.

Where ever possible we leave the oak frame exposed, to be seen and admired, rather than covered by softwood boarding. This ensures your building has the maximum aesthetic charm.

To provide a more substantial building than is standard one of our ranges uses 7 inch square oak posts in our frames. Not only does this improve the structural strength of our buildings, but also has more aesthetic appeal.
